Up Creatives Studios worked with Disave to refine their overall branding. Being the parent company of many subsidiary brands under their umbrella. It was important that Disave and their subsidiary companies were recognisable independently while communicating their relationship with their subsidiary brands.
Disave’s original logo conceptually served its purpose giving them an identity within their industry for over a decade. Practically, it restricted them from using logo on anything that was larger than a thumbnail size without their audience noticing the flaws in their iconic “lady” badge . Their old logo incorporated a “lady holding a hot cup of coffee” alongside with their name. The badge was distinguishable, however the representation and the detail in the lady was not refined, as the lady represented a very mis-proportioned lady appearing to hold a levitating cup of hot coffee.
Up Creatives Studios refined their logo to evoke consumer confidence. The lady was refined to represent a woman with healthier human like proportions and her hand was refined so that she was holding the cup of coffee. The new corporate colours associated to Disave was also refined to give them a “sleeker” and more modern appearance, choosing a darkest colour associated with coffee rather than the original pale brown colour.
